Rainbow Loading Dock a Trash Pit

Rainbow Loading DockRainbow Apparel's behavior demonstrates poor business citizenship.  Their loading dock on a residential street is littered with trash and debris all the time.

Starting in the spring weeds grow 3-4' tall and are never cut back.  This has been taking place for years.  Photos show the condition has never changed - 2010 to 2014 including one from Google.

Annunciation Greek Cathedral - Treasure in our Midst

The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Boston is beautiful and the church services, mysterious.   Bearing no resemblance to the churches from my past - Protestant - what attracted me was the music,  the role of the choir in the liturgy and the people.

And why?  Because the request for posted street sweeping is in the process of implementation.

Effective 4/1/14, Westside streets, too, will be cleaned and our cars ticketed and towed like everyone else's if we don't comply.  Everyone including neighbors who learned of the impending change was very excited.

St. Kevin's Starting Construction on the Wrong Foot

St. Kevin's Construction BeginsThe St. Kevin's project started weeks ago.  All permits needed to start the building process were in place but not at the job site.  City ordinance requires the permit to be on display to the public and any weekend work requires a separate permit.

Both of these ordinances were ignored - no permits on display and working on Saturday without a permit.  Following conversation with Adrian Walsh from Bilt-Rite, the the permits are now on display and he says they will not be working Saturdays.
