The
Boston Fire Department responded at 12:02 am January 21, 2013 to 50
Freeport St. in Dorchester for a building fire. On arrival, smoke was
showing from a 1story warehouse located behind the showroom.
At 12:47 (reported), because the building is so large, the BFD ordered
a second alarm. Then again due to the size of the building and
the fact that the fire was well into the interior of the large
warehouse, a 3rd alarm ordered (reported at 12:51 am).
There were no injuries. Fire Investigators were on the scene looking for point of origin and cause.
