Dorchester Organizations Partner to Host Toiletries Drive for Homeless

Two Dorchester organizations, The Intersection and Invisible Families, will partner the weekend of March 16, 2013 to host a toiletries drive for our neighbors who live on the street and in shelters.

You are Invited: The community is invited to bring donations of toiletries, including

  • Care of teeth: toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwash
  • Care of hair: combs, brushes, lotion, shampoo
  • General care: deodorant, soap, razors, shaving cream, sewing kits
  • Baby and child care: diapers, baby wipes, tissue and shoe laces

Travel size items are preferred but all donations are welcome.  

Donated items received on Saturday will be packaged into toiletries kits for the homeless and taken to shelters and to individuals living on the street.
