FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Food Justice Workshop Dudley Greenhouse 2/8/14

The Food Project is offering "Food for Thought," a popular and informative workshop on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at their Dudley Greenhouse.  Taught by young leaders of the community, this workshop will leave you thinking about the importance of food, food production as it ought to be and food justice in a totally different way.

If you have not had a chance to learn about food justice, this is your opportunity.  If you have, the workshop is still worth attending to get to know the youth who are seeking to change the world one leaf of lettuce at a time.

The Food Project

Food for Thought is a fun and interactive workshop that focuses on food systems, food justice, and healthy eating. Learn from young leaders about the impact of local and global food systems on the economy, environment and community; who is growing our food; and what is really in the food we eat.

Thousands of young people and adults have been through this workshop and loved it. We are thrilled to offer it this one time as a public workshop in the Dudley Greenhouse!

Pre-registration for this FREE class is recommended but not required. To sign up, please email buildagarden@thefoodproject.org. Children ages 13+ are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian.
