|August 18 marks the 28th annual celebration of
multicultural "ism" in Uphams Corner. Not that Uphams Corner was
trying to "BE" multicultural. It has happened naturally.
The Uphams Corner community is a melting pot of ethnic diversity and
the [DSNI] Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative is in the thick of
participating in the beauty of the diverse culture that defines Uphams
Corner so well.
Mary Hannon Park will be filled with a stage and performances (last
year a dance contest), inflatables for the kids, face-painting for
anyone brave enough and lots of music.

DSNI is renting tables for $10 where you can sell your wares - be they
flea market style, new, old or even delicious ethnic food for the
