According to Bernard Mayo, Project Manager for the Uphams Corner Comfort Station, public notices went out to residents within 300' of the site.  Because of its location, that meant that very few residents received notice of the meeting.

DND is planning to offer the Comfort Station for redevelopment for neighborhood commercial uses while preserving the historic elements of the building. They will be working with area residents and Main Street to establish economically feasible development objectives.
