Great Photos when Clarence turned 48 in 2012
In 2012 when Clarence held his 48th birthday party at the Nonquit Green, Uphams Arts was there to document the event with lots of photos. This year, in 2014, Clarence celebrated his 50th birthday there as well. Uphams Arts was invited to repeat the photo shoot with lots of new faces, laughter and good times.
Family members and friends gathered to celebrate with him. There were lots of kids as well from the littlest through the teenagers. The most impressive person at the party – you could say it was Clarence – but really it was his partner Gloria also known as Monique. She is a dynamite cook and organizer and demonstrated care and love to everyone in her community.
Birthday party guests waited in line a long time as each plate was prepared to requested preferences. Monique had cooked all day and who knows how many days before that preparing mac & cheese, rice, potato salad, hot dogs and hamburgers, lamb, ribs and barbecue chicken. The plates she handed out were overflowing.
Not until the very end of the line could you see the bottom of the serving trays. She kept saying she added chicken and grated carrots to the potato salad as if she were pleased with herself. The pleasure she provided to her company in the delectable tastes of the meal were more than could be expected.
Good job everyone and Happy Birthday, Clarence.
