A car accident occurred at Amado Enterprises, 750 Dudley Street, at approximately 4pm on Friday October 8, 2010..  On the side of the building is an outdoor plaza built up at least three feet from the level of the adjacent street, Belden.

The driver of a car heading west on Dudley Street apparently lost control of his car, jumped the curb, drove up the incline, crashed through the steel fencing, then dead-ended into the side of the building where Amado Enterprises is headquartered.
The owner, Salomao Amado, stated that only moments before, one of his employees had been seated against the outside wall in the very location where the car struck.  The car did penetrate through to the inside of the building.

Police arrived quickly and shortly after that the landlord, Elias Kostopoulos.  He came to survey the damage.  Was he "upset" over what happened?  "No, not really.  It was an accident, not an act of vandalism.  Accidents do happen."

Mr. Kostopoulos and his workers removed the fence, boarded up the broken window and covered over the hole in the building.
