met with Bob Flynn, Principle of the Dorchester Collegiate Academy at
131 Hancock Street in Upham's Corner. Upham's Corner News would
like to know more about this new and upcoming school, and we'd like to
hear it from everyone involved - the students, parents, teachers and

The Boston Licensing Board scheduled a hearing for A&R Enterprises
concerning the non-use of their alcohol license. According to the BLB
records, the hearing was "continued."
continuation was granted at the request of the lawyer for A&R who
asked for the hearing to be delayed one month. The hearing has
been rescheduled for January 11, 2010.
early December the City's graffiti team arrived in Upham's Corner to
take care of several graffiti sites. Once the site has been
identified as needing attention, the owner must give the city
permission to do the work. For steel grates a high-pressured hot
water system is used. For painted brick surfaces, the solution is
to paint over.

Absolutely. Does the color match? No, but that is not the
point. In the business district, a shopper's eye is easily
attracted to graffiti. It is rarely attracted to small
differences in color.
